A destination of Thracian sanctuaries, longoz forests (a rare floodplain forest ecosystem) and unspoilt nature, revealing the beauty of Southeast Bulgaria. Part of the Elhovo destination is the Tundzha River Gorge, a protected area near the village of Lesovo that preserves valuable habitats for birds, amphibians and reptiles.
