The camp will take place in Madzharovo, where participants will have the opportunity to discover the rich biodiversity of the Eastern Rhodopes and learn more about the important ecological role of vultures in nature, as well as the conservation activities carried out by the BSPB team.
Program
Field training:
Field activities will take place in the morning and will be led by experienced BSPB experts in nature conservation and vulture conservation. During the field training, participants will observe bird behaviour at close range and learn about the biology, ecology and threats facing the species concerned.
Theoretical lectures:
Lectures will take place in the afternoon and will cover general and specific information about protected species, nature conservation legislation, the collection of biological data and its application, bird monitoring and research techniques, as well as vulture conservation activities and their specific requirements. Each topic will be presented by a BSPB expert in the relevant field.
