The winter celebration of Trifon Zarezan in Mezek Village will take place on 14 February 2027.
The celebration will begin with bagpipe music and the ceremonial gathering of the King and Queen of the Vineyards, followed by their procession to the village square, where the festivities will continue with music, wine and a lively atmosphere. Everyone
wishing to participate in the Royal Wine Competition is invited to bring a small bottle of wine from their own harvest.
The organisers from the “Izgrev 1921” Community Cultural Centre in Mezek Village invite guests to dress in traditional clothing passed down from their grandmothers or clothes featuring Bulgarian folk motifs, in order to recreate the authentic spirit and atmosphere of the celebration.
