Traditionally, Cherepovo village in Harmanli Municipality hosts a community festival on the Saturday around May 24. The programme includes a folk performance by the host community centre, Svetlina 1929, and guest community centres from the Sakar region. A pop-up market featuring local crafts and homemade products is usually organised as well. Traditional grilled food is served, and visitors can join the Bulgarian circle dances in the centre of Cherepovo village.
