The Sakar breakfast in Dositeevo includes Kartalache pastries made from hand-rolled pastry sheets with cheese and lard, sheep’s or goat’s yoghurt, cheese, sesame tahini and honey, tea or coffee, and seasonal fruit.
In summer, it is served at the gazebo next to the community centre, overlooking St Ivan Rilski Church. On cold winter days, Sakar breakfast is served in the warm and cosy guest room of Archimandrite Dositey-1908 Community Centre.
