The small community centre in Mezek village preserves Bulgaria’s folk heritage. Here, the creative workshop brings together children and adults, whose skilled hands create decorations, ornaments, drawings and other beautiful things for every celebration.
The centre is proud of its Detelini women’s folklore group and Mezek men’s folklore group – keepers of local traditions and performers of authentic songs. Thanks to the dedication of local artists, a valuable collection of authentic folk songs has also been created, preserving the spirit of the region for generations to come.
