A picturesque view revealed at a bend in the Arda River after Madzharovo, in the direction of Borislavtsi. In addition to the river, the surrounding landscape is remarkable, as Madzharovo lies within the crater of an extinct volcano and is surrounded by jagged rocks and solidified lava. Some of the most emblematic birds of prey nest in the cliffs above the Arda, including Griffon and Egyptian vultures, long-legged buzzard, black stork, rock nuthatch, blue rock thrush and others.
