The large-scale mural adorns the entrance to Topolovgrad and reminds residents and visitors that this is a special place for Bulgarian nature. The Imperial Eagle is depicted in its nest together with two young eagles. It is painted on the corner of an apartment building and brings the urban environment to life in a unique way. Since the eagle landed on the walls of the Sakar apartment block, local people have increasingly come to recognise it as part of their identity and take pride in Topolovgrad being home to this magnificent bird.
