Imbolg is represented as the Bride Goddess awaiting the return of the Sun God. This is the origin of the Irish name for the celebration\, St. Brigid’s Day. According to the Celtic Threefold Deity\, the Old Woman is reborn at Imbolg as the Maiden Brigid\, Goddess of Fire. Brigid becomes pregnant and gives birth to the New Sun. Saint Brigid is the goddess of poetry\, healing and smithcraft\, as well as the patroness of some of the most important crafts in Celtic society – dyeing\, weaving and brewing beer. The main purpose of IMBOLG is to celebrate the coming of spring. It is a time associated with the beginning of growth in nature. On this day\, we sow the seeds of our hopes and dreams for the warm months ahead.\n\nDate: 7 February 2026\, Saturday\, from 18:00. Free admission\, with food and drinks available for purchase.
